GMU 50
Our GMU 50 hunt takes place on 9,000 acres of private property that covers wide open spaces, Aspen stands, and dense timber. We also have over 50,000 acres of permitted BLM and state land. You'll also have access to thousands of acres of national forest within the unit. This unit offers trophy elk, and antelope.
You will arrive the day before your hunt where you’ll be greeted by our friendly staff. You’ll be able to offload your gear to our 4,500 square foot lodge
stocked with a full kitchen, running water, heat, wood stove, and everything you’ll need for a great hunt.
Once your gear is ready, we will meet to discuss the hunt area and go over any questions. The next morning, you will be up before sunrise and getting ready to head out. Depending on the animal movement and weather, we will help you put a game plan in place to get you in the right areas to find your trophy. Hunts are typically spot and stalk.
Evenings are spent at the lodge enjoying a warm wood fire. This is where we believe some of the best memories are made. Talking about past and present hunts, relaxing, and enjoying old and new friends. Our goal is to provide you an enjoyable and rewarding hunting experience.
Once you get your trophy, there is a great processor in the area that can take care of your meat and your cape if you plan on having it mounted. Once your tags are filled, you’re welcome to stay at the cabin for the remainder of your time and enjoy the area or head out to show family and friends your success.
For archery, you can draw with 0-1 preference points. Rifle seasons require from 1 to 4 preference points. We do get some landowner vouchers as well.

Bison Hunts
These hunts take place on our 30,000-acre ranch and have a 100% shot opportunity. Hunts take place January 1st – March 1st on our ranch located in GMU 87. There are no tags needed as this is an estate hunt. Rest assured; this is not shooting animals in a corral. These animals free roam 30,000 acres and must be pursued. For cow hunts, you can plan on getting over 400 lbs. of meat and bulls often get at least 600 lbs. of meat. This is some of the best meat you can have and makes for a fun hunt. Families are more than welcome to come along and enjoy the pursuit. We also have a great taxidermist that does phenomenal work and ships your mount, hide, or euro mount.
Just want the meat and not the hunt, then let us know. We can harvest the animal and handle processing. All you have to do is come pick it up.
All hunts include guides, lunches, snacks, and non-alcoholic drinks.
